Instructors: Mary Carmosino & Gina Talandis
This weaving class will focus on a weft-faced weave for making a bag to your liking in size and pattern.
Friday (6–9pm) Move in looms, discuss patterns, design, size, shape and ease of finishing, handle/strap preference, start warp for project.
Saturday (9am–5pm with a lunch break) Finish warp, dress loom, begin weaving and hope to finish.
Sunday (12pm–4pm) Finish weaving, take off loom, assemble project, attach handle and closure if necessary.
Supplies: Three looms may be available through FAVA, otherwise; you will need to bring your own two or four harness loom - either table, floor or rigid heddle.
